Follow Friday - 16/03/12

Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison can read. Each week participants are given a prompt. This week's is:

Q: What is the best book you’ve read in the last month? What is the worst book you’ve read in the last month?

Oh gosh, this is hard! I've read a number of really good books in the last month (pure luck, but I'm thankful for that).

Best: The Untied Kingdom - if I'm honest, not actually the best book I've read in the last month, but it worked for me the best with the place I was in at the time that I read it.

Worst: Motor City Mage - just wasn't for me.

Thanks for stopping by. What was your answer? Leave me a link and I'll stop by your page too!
Have a great weekend and happy hopping!

    1. The Untied Kingdom is very much a Mills and Boon style romance, but I really enjoyed it!

  2. Haven't heard of those two. I haven't really read a book that can be called the worst. In fact, my pick which was one I just wanted to be a little better, I still gave 4 out of 5 stars! Guess I've been lucky! Hope you have many more great books to come!

    1. They're both fairly low key but The Untied Kingdom deserves a lot more attention.

  5. Haven't read those, but I know exactly what you mean with the place you were in when reading The United Kingdom.
Sometimes the mood you're in + the book you pick up makes for the perfect combination.
    Happy Friday!

    1. Thanks! I hope the same for you too. Both of my choices come from small publishing houses, but for only 99 cents off Amazon, The Untied Kingdom was a diamond in the ruff for me!

  8. Hello Rea! :)
It's nice to meet you! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I am unfamiliar with the books on your page but perhaps I should at least check out the Untied Kingdom.
Also, I like your 11 things about you page... we have some things in common. I'm also 23. and American, although I am fascinated by the UK and would love to go. I also hate doing laundry.
Looking forward to reading more from you!
